Kind of Project: Large country property garden.
Design Brief: This project remit involved developing borders to create a sense of Victorian/Edwardian grandeur while enhancing the site’s other elements, such as its productive areas.
My Solution: I worked with the clients, who had their own ideas, and advised and contributed to the overall plan. I took a practical role in this project’s development.
A mini vineyard was also created in front of a southerly wall with three rows approximately 10 metres long, with white pebbles beneath. This increased light levels, warmth to aid grape-ripening and concentrate the grape sugar content for wine-making.
